The third National Investment Club Conference took take place in London on Saturday 31st of October 2009 at the World Money Show (Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre). As with the previous events, this was a very successful event packed with great actitivies for investment clubs and private investors. For the first time, we also had five investment exhibting.
The Second National Investment Clubs Conference took place in the UK on Saturday 15th of November 2008 in London (at the World Money Show, at the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre) where several hundred private investors and investment club members gather to discuss all sorts of hot topics. It has been a great success bringing together new and experienced investment clubs as well as private investors interested in general investing matters as well as how to set up or join clubs. The First National investment Clubs Conference in the UK (also known as Proshare Clubs Day) was held on Saturday 1st of December 2007. - It took place within the World Money Show, with support from a number of investment clubs, Proshareclubs (Digital Look) and Timetotrade. The event was led by investment clubs and all speakers were investment club members. The turnout was great and the conference was a superb meeting place for investment clubs and private investors See details of the 2007 conference. How it all started:The initial founders of this event (Alex Madden, Dave Gaskell and Mourad Kara) had worked throughout 2007 with Proshareclubs, Timetotrade and World Money Show to setup the first national conference. Since then this core group has been extended to include Peter Salenieks and several past and current speakers. Alex Madden is from the Sensatus investment club; Dave Gaskell from the Rolling Stocks investment club, Mourad Kara from the Mobius investment club and Peter Salenieks from Dynamic investment club.
