Monthly Accounts

The Mobius accounts are compiled on a monthly basis on the last day of the month. These montly accounts are reported in the following monthly meeting. The tables below depicts the month on which accounts are reported. For example, the accounts shown as "December 2005" are reported in the December 2005 meeting but these are for the November 2005 (with a valuation date on the 30th of November 2005).

These account files are password-protected for members' access only.

  1. Accounts between 1997 and 1999 were completed manually using the Proshare forms (available at the time from the Proshare Investment Club manual and now available from ProshareClubs ) and with the calculations done using a spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel).
  2. Between 1999 and 2001, a more comprehensive spreadsheet (with multiple inter-linked worksheets) was developed and used to complete the accounts. In June 2001, it was agreed to move to COW2000.
  3. All accounts are audited and validated at least once a year (in some years, this has run twice a year). Auditors submit their report at the AGM in November each year.

These are the auditors reports available online only to members of the club.

Tax accounts

These are the tax reports available online only to members of the club (as an indication only). The correct IR forms are issued by the member in charge of the taxation for the club (see members' roles).
